Andrej Blatnik (Slovenia) was born in 1963 in Ljubljana. With works translated into over ten languages, Blatnik is one of the most translated contemporary Slovenian authors. Blatnik published three novels: “Plamenice in solze” (1987), “Tao ljubezni” (1996), and “Spremeni me” (2008); five books of short fiction: “Šopki za Adama venijo” (1983), “Biografije brezimenih” (1989), “Menjave kož” (1990), “Zakon želje” (2000), and “Saj razumeš?” (2009). He also published a study of American metafiction “Labirinti iz papirja” (1994), a book of non-fiction “Gledanje čez ramo” (1996), a collection of essays on literature in digital era “Neonski pečati” (2005), and a textbook on creative writing “Pisanje kratke zgodbe” (2010). Most of his works were published in Croatian.
